No Futuro is a three piece from Seattle featuring Roderick Romero the founding member of Americas premier space rock group- Sky Cries Mary. No Futuro began as a project to score music for Roderick's internet film program Intervision which received over 200,000 hits a week. The group then began to play live and entered the studio to record their debut cd in the summer/fall of 2000. Also featured on this disk is William Bernhard (Will E. B.), the former guitarist of Sky Cries Mary, and Jeremy Moss (Miguel Moskowitz) an electronic pioneer from NY. To fill out the sound they brought in Lee Anchi, one of Taiwan's biggest pop stars and the angelic voice of of Anisa Romero (Sky Cries Mary/Hana). On this, their debut cd, No Futuro mixes down tempo grooves with spoken word and trance/chant vocals, taking their audience on a cinematic journey to the center of a very strange planet.
